TIPS AND LIFEHACKS FOR STUDENTS OF ALL AGES!
Before sending us your books, it’s important to understand our acceptance criteria and conditions. This guide will walk you through the essential information you need to know.

ISBN Requirements

Verify that the ISBN printed on the back cover of your books matches the ISBN provided in your buyback quote. This step is crucial to ensure accurate credit. If stickers cover the original barcode, remove them to confirm the ISBN number on the back cover.

Condition of Books

All books must be in good or better condition. While items with excessive highlighting, writing, minor water damage, or cover damage may be accepted, the final payment will depend on the severity of the damage, and it may be less than the original quote.

Conditions That Render Items Ineligible:

Items with any of the following conditions are ineligible for buyback:
  • Missing pages
  • Misprinted pages
  • Heavy staining or mold
  • Excessive water damage
  • Pages stuck together
  • Missing cover or a torn cover

Workbooks

Workbooks must include all pages and have minimal to no writing or highlighting. Workbooks with more than 10 pages of writing will be rejected.

Supplemental Materials

If your items require access codes or other supplemental materials, they must be included to receive the full quoted amount. If all required items are not sent, the value of your order will be reevaluated, and you may receive a reduced payment.

Counterfeit Books

We have a strict policy regarding counterfeit textbooks. If we suspect that a book may be an illegal copy, we will not accept it. We collaborate with publishers to verify its authenticity. If the book is confirmed as genuine, you will receive your payment. Otherwise, it will be retained by the publisher. For more information on recognizing counterfeit books and our policy, please refer to our detailed article on counterfeit books.

Rejected Items

If an item you sent is not acceptable and was rejected, you will not receive payment, and the book will be recycled. If you wish to have the item returned, we offer the option for return shipment at your expense.
